Supreme Court of Ohio: Don’t Count Some Provisional Ballots in Franklin County
Stivers-Kilroy Race on the Line
From Gongwer this afternoon:
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled Friday that a number of contested provisional votes cast in Franklin County should not be counted.
The ruling impacts about 1,000 votes that could impact the outcome of exceedingly close races for Congress and the Ohio House of Representatives. Issuance of the decision also means that Franklin County election officials can begin counting about 26,000 other provisional ballots.
