On November 21 the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation added three more banks to its failed bank list.  The list goes back nine years.  Forty-five percent of the banks on the list were added this year.  The latest bank failures:

  1. PFF Bank and Trust, Pomona, CA
  2. Downey Savings & Loan, Newport Beach, CA
  3. The Community Bank, Loganville, GA

Trying to renegotiate two loans with Downey Savings and Loan
and working for re-modifications. My investment property was turned down for re-modification and I am now waiting for
a re-modification for my primary home. I have been waiting for response that should have happened within a promised
    60 day period.

Should I sue Downey Savings and Loan to force the re-modifications? I have written to the C.E.O. of U. S. Bank for help.

    Thanks for any assistance.
