About the only difference between them 15 years ago and now is that now they’re making a lot of money for the same things that used to get them shown the door.

I am an obstetrician and after 25 years of taking care of pregnant children and women, I still haven’t met that 12 year old rape victim that needs or wants an abortion. The women who chose taking life all had reasons for their decisions. In less than 1%, the abortion was needed to protect the woman’s health or to treat a lethal fetal defect, in 2% there was a non-lethal birth defect or the fetus was the wrong sex, in 6% the woman broke up with her boyfriend and no longer wanted to be pregnant, in 91% the women felt birth control was too much trouble or they couldn’t remember to use it.

By the way the procedure known as partial birth abortion where a 24 week or older gestation fetus is delivered to its head and then killed before the delivery is completed, the procedure supported by Obama, almost all the democratic party, some GOP-RINOs, and NARAL is never needed to protect a woman’s health. It is needed to make sure a child is not born alive after a botched late term abortion.

Now that this procedure is no longer legal, Obama and the democrat party would like women and doctors to have the option to let a baby born alive to die by neglect after a botched abortion.

The real reason for 99% of abortions performed in the U.S.A. has nothing to do with a sexual assault or the health of the women. Whether, it is manslaughter by neglect, dismemberment or suction curette, the real reason is so a woman won’t have the emotional distress of having to decide to care for a child she didn’t want or feel bad about placing the child for adoption. It is all about the moral character of the woman getting and the doctor performing the abortion.
