Did you hear about all the incidences of payday lending petition circulators lying to voters? Word is they are still out there lying to shore up the number of signatures they have - just in case a substantial number get rejected by the Boards of Elections. Given the tactics used: paying homeless persons for signatures, telling voters the referendum will lower interest rates and not asking potential signees if they are registered to vote, I’d expect a large number of them to get thrown out!
If they don’t get tossed, remember to vote yes on issue 5 for lower interest rates! We need to end the debt trap for hundreds of thousands of Ohioans and a ‘yes’ vote on issue 5 is the only way to do that!
